Hipped roof
Explanation:
This seems to be the term used. I believe a tented roof is more steeply sloped.

Thanks, I had already awarded you the points but the question was duplicated so I have to do it again. I added the phrase "with eaves low to the ground", following other suggestions.

neutral  Armorel Young: But there are plenty of hipped roofs that aren't "heruntergezogen" - the one term doesn't translate the other.

neutral  Michael Martin, MA: Another weird discussion. Armorel is exactly right.

low-hanging roof

Explanation:
Hipped roof alone is not sufficient to describe the German term as that just means that the roof has a slope. But you could combine the two, if you want.

the low lying roof

Explanation:
source:
Die Wohnverhältnisse waren eng und bescheiden, und das tief heruntergezogene Dach liess nur wenig Licht in die Wohnräume.
ballenberg.ch
The living conditions were cramped and modest and the low-lying roof let little light into the living rooms.
