I hate to say it... but I have found a few examples of "creative" being used like this by US companies, still don't like it in this short sentence, especially as the last word - just really seems like something is missing and doesnt say very much, but here are two of the examples:
"Throughout his career he has been involved in a variety of aspects of demand generation – whether developing strategies and creative, or deploying systems for metrics."
