Bus/Financial - Accounting / IAS consolidated financial statements
German term or phrase: Ergebnisneutrale latente Steuern
This appears as an item of equity in a statement of financial position. The explanation provided is as follows: "Die Position Ergebnisneutrale latente Steuern enthält die Effekte aus den Veränderungen der Steuersätze bei der Ermittlung latenter Steuern."

I have only found it in the statement of comprehensive income in a Munich Airport report, where it was rendered as "Income tax relating to items that may be reclassified".

Does anyone know whether this is correct and, if not, what it should be called?

Thanks!

Thanks very much Ted, Robin and Barbara. The other translation was so weird that I thought I'd better ask the experts!

Notes to answerer
Asker: While I agree, I think it is a bit strange to have an item in the statement of financial position that says "xxx recognized directly in equity". Have you seen that before, Ted?

agree  RobinB: I think "recognized in" rather than "to", but not a major issue. Niamh: See my comments in the discussion.
