Hi

I am trying to find a suitable English translation for "Umsatzerlöse aus anderen Lieferungen und Leistungen" which is in the Gewinn und Verlustrechnung under "Umsatzerlöse" (from German HGB 275 II) as follows:

1. Umsatzerlöse
a) Umsatzerlöse aus der Hausbewirtschaftung
b) Umsatzerlöse aus anderen Lieferungen und Leistungen


Would anyone be able to advise what this might mean? I've searched all over but not having any luck so far.
Any feedback or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Lieferungen should not be translated literally here just as it is not in Forderungen/Verbindlichkeiten von Lieferungen und Leistungen (trade receivables/payables) on the balance sheet.

agree  RobinB: We normally say "sales" for Umsatzerlöse in German GAAP, but "revenue" would also be OK. But this has nothing to do with "provisions": it's merely a subclassification of sales, with a) being "sales/revenue from property management" .

vs. Umsatzerlöse aus der Hausbewirtschaftung > managing agents' or estates management revenues.

Lieferungen und Leistungen on the assets side: trade debtors and, on the liabilities, trade creditors. These points seem to have been lost on previous ProZ asnwers.

neutral  RobinB: First, I'm not happy with "trading". That sounds too much like "Handelsumsätze", which this is not. Second, please remember that "creditors" and "payables" (UK GAAP: debtors) are balance sheet accounts, not P&L accounts!

agree  RobinB: This is also OK, except I think it should be "from" not "of", to avoid confusion with "Absatz". Or maybe "Revenue from sales of..."
