Qu'est-ce qui est juste? Le central ou la centrale téléphonique? Les deux semblent s'utiliser (j'ai aussi vu "le centrale").
J'aurais tendance à dire le central, mais je commence à douter.

Oui mais.... "la centrale téléphonique" = dans les 700 occurrences, dont une bonne part helvétique, alors que "le central téléphonique" en a 23 000... Je prendrais donc la forme masculine.
