Estoy traduciendo un texto literario y en este pasaje un director de cine habla de cómo solventaba problemas que aparecían en el rodaje de una película. No entiendo aquí el significado de "lèvres". Si es literal, no entiendo el sentido de la imagen en general y por qué luego habla de un amante para los labios. ¿Alguna idea?

Il fallait qu’à chaque fois qu’on siffle, la bouche dise I love you… Ça a été des mois de boulot en amont du tournage… Il a fallu qu’on donne aux lèvres un amant anglais et qu’elles s’habituent à siffler à chaque fois qu’il disait I love you… Comme ça c’est devenu mécanique.
