Dans le national-populisme lepeniste, le peuple est considere a la fois ethnos (reference a la nation ethnique, pure) et demos (appel a ceux d'en bas, supposes non corrompus). Le populisme de type lepeniste est donc a la fois protestataire (au nom des petits contre les gros) et identitaire.
