Estive a ler melhor a frase e fazer mais pesquisas…
Como se trata de uma atividade, excluiria tudo o que fosse termo técnico e, inclusive, "pecúlio" à letra.
Posso estar enganada, mas interpreto como algo parecido a reserva de dinheiro, dinheiro posto de lado, poupança, economias, ou pé-de-meia da equipa para comprar/adquirir algo, como se fosse uma atividade lúdica e tivéssemos um desses recursos (monetários).
Num jogo seria como que um "tesouro". Veja se este termo se encaixa no contexto. Quem sabe?
