Salve a tutti,

sto traducendo un comunicato stampa su una gara di golf.

"En tête de file, le fameux Peter DALLAT, qui ***s’est offert le luxe de driver à deux reprises directement sur le green, dès le Trou N°1*** (vraiment spectaculaire)."

Ho letto che un drive è un colpo a lunga distanza ma vorrei capire in che senso il giocatore "s'est offert le luxe de...": è un colpo che solo a certi giocatori è permesso fare? O semplicemente si intende che questo golfista "si è esibito in due drive..."?

Insomma, se mi aiutate a capire proprio tutta la frase mi fate un gran favore! :)
