Grazie, merci. :))

Explanation:
I set Cf level because I worked more than 5 years in the market research industry.
It is not about a particuar nation baut on the age of the target group.
A shingh example: if you want to sell AVON low budget beauty products for the young students you will use You as 2nd singular i.e. TU, and will write that the product is easy to use, fits in the pocket of your favorite jeans etc.
This is the same case on Twitter, all the localization was initially "VOUS" and now everything is set to "TU".

If you want to sell a VICHY or a L'ORÉAL Age Perfect anti-wrinkles cream which itself almost EUR 50 (when I was young I could not even imagine who is able to buy them) of course you will not address as TU a woman who is in her fifties. And describing the product, you will say it a has "a sophisticated formula which gives you a renewed shining look and a rejuvenated feeling" (which both we know is a lie but at least a good-sounding one :P

Summa summarum, depending on the target group and the subject but i would prefer under 30 singular 2 TU, above 30 VOUS. It is like a difference/contrast between heavy fragrance to an evening dress in the opera house and a light eau de cologne with a summer top and pink flip-flops in the summer.

You are Italian, all Italian men are the most emotional I have ever seen so I think even if my English far not perfect you will understand.

Yes, it always depends on what we want to say and who we are addressing. Thank you.

Asker: Yes, thanks, this is the way I use actually, but sometimes it's just not easy to choose which target they want to reach without asking the client. But I totally agree with you. Thank you, I understand perfectly.

Explanation:

Ciao Beppe. I siti web, chiaramente, non utilizzano uno stile differenziato in base all'età.

Notes to answerer
