Si tratta di un documentario sulle isole Marchesi della Polinesia Francese.
Le donne raccolgono delle conchiglie nere commestibili che poi raschiano sugli scogli per pulirle. Il mollusco all'interno somiglia alle patelle.
Loro le chiamano "mamà" e non so come tradurle, probabilmente lascerò il termine marchesiano!

parmi une cinquantaine d’espèces citées, nous avons pu en reconnaître un certain nombre: Chiton marquesanus (mama), Turbo setosus (potea), Cyrtulus serotinus (pukava kekeo), Cypraeacassis rufa (pu tupe), Tutufa bubo (pu teuteu henua), Cypraea tigris (putoto eheke)
