C'est une interprétation assez libre, certes ! Juste pour dire que le terme "Kavitation" existe bel et bien. J'ai l'impression qu'il s'agit justement de cela, comme l'indique l'exemple maritime fourni.

Der Terminus "Kavität" hingegen erscheint offensichtlich in völlig anderen Zusammenhängen (Karies, Spritzguss etc.), s. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kavität. Vielleicht ist daher der o.g. Vorschlag gar nicht abwegig...
