Noch eine Frage zu meinem statistischen Text über die Nutzung von cloudbasierten Diensten. Hier geht es um die Formulierung «des générations qui passent»:


De manière générale, une solution technologique nouvelle [...] est par nature utilisée d’abord par les jeunes, qui l’adoptent comme la technologie du moment. Si cette solution répond à des besoins plus larges, elle se diffusera, mais elle sera également en expansion par le simple fait *des générations qui passent*, et qui adoptent successivement les nouveaux usages […].

Was genau ist hier gemeint? «Aber sie dehnt sich auch ganz einfach deshalb aus, weil sich die Generationen ablösen …»? Vielen Dank für eure geschätzten Kommentare!
