Installation d'un *platelage* de chaque coté de la ligne. Le niveau des platelage est à environ 10O à 200 mm sous le niveau inférieur des bras de balancelles. Un autre *platelage* situé environ 400mm plus bas couvre une partie du dessous de caisse, pour éviter les chutes depuis le niveau du platelage. Cette zone est aussi protégée par 2 cellules optiques, qui stoppent la manutention si un opérateur tente d'y marcher.

Le platelage est le quadrillage métallique que l'ont aperçoit au sol. Il s'agit de lattes d'acier espacées d'un mètre et noyées dans un sol de béton parfaitement horizontal. Cet ensemble permettait :
- D'avoir un sol parfaitement plat pour l'assemblage des blocs : un peu comme une immense table de travail.
- D'apporter le courant nécessaire à la soudure des tôles.
- De maintenir les tôles pendant leur assemblage, pour leur éviter de se déformer sous la chaleur de la soudure.

agree  Catherine GRILL: ganz richtig, nur ich finde Bodenbelag zu wenig, denn es doch klar dass diese Produktionsstrasse nicht nur auf blanker Erde steht

  -> Bodenbelag muß nicht notwendigerweise auf ebener Erde sein, sondern kann auf für Treppen, Laufsteige, Brücken u.a. verwendet werden.
