French term or phrase: rizlan
Transportation context: I'm translating a checklist of steps to be verified on a semi-trailer for a long-distance transport carrier.

Échelle remontée et bloquée avec rizlan
Garde-corps baissé et bloqué avec rizlan

Seems to refer to some sort of locking mechanism?

I can't find this term anywhere, even when taking into consideration that it might be misspelled in the source... I've reached out to the client but in the meantime... any thoughts?

cable tie, TyRap
Explanation:
A very common typo for rilsan — which variously gets spelt rizlan or rislan, presumbaly because it also get pronounced wrongly!

'cable tie' is a generic term for these in EN (even if here it isn't actually being used for tying cables!) — though many people use the equivalent proprietary name, which is TyRap®; again, various spellings of that exist, and I'm no longer even sure which is the correct manufacturer's spelling!

neutral  Tony M: It certainly is a typo — but note they are not commonly called by this trade name in EN; and it certainly isn't any kind of 'clamp'
