Gail is right. The section that reads 'Dans le cas d'une demande pour installer un minibar dans une chambre ou une suite, l'Employeur paie au salarié qui en fait l'installation et la suppression un montant de cinq dollars (5.00 $) lorsque des frais sont chargés au client à cette fin.' is not a separate clause but rather an explanation that is indented underneath the first two statements on bars avec et sans boissons....

So I think you're right Gail!

Indeed... I was looking at the old version of that document, without the "minibar" heading. In the new version it sure looks like they're talking about minibars.

well their website says minibar are included, or so it appears. It is not clear tho, and not clear in the text given. In the text above, they have Minibar in the heading, then appear to shorten it to bar.... There is one way to resolve it ... and their phone number is listed :)

I'd assume that a minibar is a standard feature in such a hotel, it wouldn't require additional service to get installed in a room :)

If you look at my post 'The next clause is'... what I was trying to explain was that 'minibars' are dealt with in a separate clause to 'bars' and both these terms feature separately

which in my experience is a mini-fridge ...

Yes I did think about that Kevin but see my added context about mini-bars and other room dining services... which still leaves me thinking the employer is paying the server for doing something at the 'bar' that has been provided. Your comment may still hold. Is it likely for there to be enough demand for a drinks bar without alcohol in Quebec for the service to feature in separate clause like this, ie. is serving alchohol an issue in Quebec to your knowledge?

Perhaps one option is with alcohol included and the other one is without?

As in, get the minibar, pay for your beverages/alcohol yourself or add an extra fee to get some from the hotel.
