basic admission fee Explanation: That's what I think it is, but I could be wrong. Entitles the visitor to an audio guide, but no special tours. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 24 mins (2012-07-18 14:30:22 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Context matters, of course. when no exhibition is on Explanation: I think this means provided there is no exhibition going on. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2012-07-18 15:57:31 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- To be more precise, this is referring to the price of entry when there is no exhibition going on, since when there is one, the price naturally goes up. "TTC" means all tax included, and it is a very basic acronym found on literally everything in France because of the tax on the added value ("TVA, taxe sur la valeur ajoutée" in French). It has nothing to do with the translation asked here. |
