My triple-E suggestion.
Oh dear, does that give me an EEE credit rating...?!

Example:

BBC News | EUROPEAN | EU enlargement: Will East go West?

"Early membership will result in a very significant exodus of Eastern Europeans for which we are not culturally ready yet."

neutral  Colin Rowe: I am also assuming Ireland, but the text does not say that they have returned home - merely left. They may well now be in Britain. // Good point. But is it really the economy, or have they just gone home to watch the football? ;-)

-> Following the media over the last few years, I got the impression that Eastern Europeans have returned to their home countries in droves - from Ireland AND the UK. One reason: the Polish economy is booming - the British isn't.

What do you think?

I was more thinking of opting out of a waning economy in order to return to the boom in their own - the idea is a little tongue in cheek...

Asker: i agree with but opt out here is ambiguous it gives also a sense of "décider de ne pas participer à ..." what do you think?
