Would "the most up-to-date materials" be the best translation for this? Other suggestions?

As an alternative. This is a very odd use of the term "high technology materials". One simply does not build business cases out of computer chips. The term "high tech design" is so widely employed in a positive sense that it could probably be applied to a business case these days.
