CAVAMAC (French state pension fund for insurance professionals)
Explanation:
The French pension system is a nightmare, each profession has its own fund to which they pay mandatory contributions and in some cases additional complementary (but not optional) contributions. For all of these sorts of organisations I leave the French acronym and explain in English. There is no English equivalent.

French state pension fund for insurance professionals or members of the insurance profession as defined by the French Code de l'Assurance.

neutral  philgoddard: I'm all for simplification, but this is not nearly specific enough. You can't turn "agents généraux d'assurance et mandataires non salariés de l'assurance et de capitalisation" into "insurance professionals".
