The particular person is Professor Jean-Claude Beacco (New Sorbonne University, Paris).

After having second thoughts, the name above is not French, but rather Italian descent. If the name is Italian, it would be pronounced like "be-" as in "beta" and "-acco" as in "according". Or, there should be a accent over "e" like Béacco.
