Hi,

I am really stumped with the "rythmique" in this sentence:

"Patiente aux principaux antécédents de cardiopathie bivalvulaire sur remplacement aorto-mitrale mécanique et rythmique (FA permanente) à FEVG altérée et porteuse d'un DAI triple chambre."

I understand that the aortic and mitral valve have been replaced by mechanical prostheses but don't see how "rythmique" fits into the sentence as it is written....

I think that you perhaps parsed the sentence wrongly. The patient has:

antécédents de cardiopathie bivalvulaire [sur remplacement aorto-mitrale mécanique]

and

antécédents rythmique (FA permanente) [à FEVG altérée]

However, I might be wrong. Chronic atrial fibrillation (FA permanente) seems to be a usual side effect of the valve replacement.
