retainer harp Explanation: This gets no hits, so it's been coined specially for the patent, and you have to make up a term yourself. It's presumably some kind of loop shaped like the musical instrument: http://www.ben-mor.com/manilles-a-goupille-vissees-type-lyre... In English, I think we'd call this not a lyre but a harp, like the device that holds a lampshade in place: http://www.wayfair.com/Westinghouse-Lighting--Lamp-Harp-7022... |

retaining clamp Explanation: Just one possibility that avoids mentioning what shape it is... Only need to be more specific if there are several parts that might end up with the same name! |

Wire-lock pin Explanation: I suppose a type of "wire-lock pin" might be alright. Look up the link below and take your pick. Their documentation is quite interesting indeed. "Rounded Retainer with Loop Closure" or "Rounded Retainer with Easy-Release Tab" might be good translations, given the shape of the "lyre de retenue". https://www.mcmaster.com/wire-lock-pins They even talk about retainer clearance for the "retenue". -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 hrs (2019-05-20 12:56:37 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- After having done some more research, the "screw pin shackle" seem to be the right term and matches the picture of "lyre" that philgoddard has sent (www.ben-mor.com/manilles-a-goupille-vissees-type-lyre-spas)... Please google it and have a look. For you to have a better idea, this firm sells this type of products : https://www.thecrosbygroup.com/products/shackles/screw-pin/ https://www.mcmaster.com/wire-lock-pins |
