A display of 'stars' in a table - in fact they look more like squashed flies to my eyes than stars, but are vaguely star shaped. Each 'branch' represents a particular element emanating from a single point and the longer the branch the more of the element there is.
(What is a little strange to my mind is that some of the ends of the branches are joined up thus forming tiny triangles).

This is a description of chemical pollutants in the home based on a sample of around 500 homes.

La longueur de la branche correspond alors au niveau de concentration moyen de ce COV dans le groupe de logements considéré : plus la branche d’un COV est longue sur une étoile, plus la concentration de ce COV dans le sous-groupe de logements représenté par cette étoile est importante par rapport aux autres logements. Le voisinage des étoiles sur le graphique correspond à celui de la carte topologique, et par conséquent aux proximités entre sous-groupes.
