enduit cellulosique en poudre HPMC powder Explanation: https://indofilcc.com/business-area/specialty-performance-ch... http://www.kalpanapolymers.com/wall-putty-tile-adhesive-chem... https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/hydroxypropyl-methyl-... HPMC: hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2017-03-25 14:41:40 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- A good starting point is to try and find the same product in a well-known brand. That way you have a strong chance of finding your way to some clues in another language. We all know several DIY brands, we all know a few DIY and or glue brands. As Shakespeare once wrote : "Screw your courage to the sticking place" (Macbeth, I believe). Maybe you'll find something with Bostik, for example? Then go to B&Q on line and see where the same product appears until something bonds (haha). Happy shopping! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methyl_cellulose The construction materials can be cement-based or gypsum-based. Notable examples of dry mixture mortars which utilize methyl cellulose include: tile adhesives, EIFS, insulating plasters, hand-troweled and machine-sprayed plaster, stucco, self-leveling flooring, extruded cement panels, skim coats, joint & crack fillers, and tile grouts. Typical usage is about 0.2% – 0.5% of total dry powder weight for dry mixtures. Maybe the term "dry-mix" could help in your searches. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day4 hrs (2017-03-26 17:36:54 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- You're welcome. "Cellulose coating" is what I'd have used without having conducted searches, as a literal solution. I just couldn't imagine any use for coating cellulose alone. It was when I looked into it, together with the info you have provided, that I came round to thinking that it was a cellulose powder to be mixed with glue. That took me on to HPMC powders, HPMC being cellulose. In the Wikipedia source, there is reference to a "skim coat". If it is being used on a surface, that may help. I'm not a specialist though, but if you have found something that works, that's fine! |
