encased in [luxurious] leather Explanation: It literally means "strapped in leather", but obviously that doesn't work in the context. What you use depends vastly on what the chair looks like. If it consists of a frame covered in leather, then I'd use "encased". If it is soft, i.e. upholstered, then you could use something like "upholstered in luxurious leather". |

(leather-)bound Explanation: "Bound" with leather seems to fit, but strictly speaking, a "sangle" is a strap - you could hardly say "strapped with leather", though! "With leather straps" might work. |
