neutral  Tony M: I don't think it's either necessary or helpful to add the explanation that is not there in the source text — especially since it is an EN acronym in the first place.

Reference information:
Kraton G SEBS and SEPS polymers are the strongest, the most highly dilutive, and the most compatible with polyolefins and mineral oils of all the styrenic thermoplastic block copolymers. Kraton G polymers are second generation styrenic block copolymers with a hydrogenated midblock of styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene (SEBS) or styrene-ethylene/propylene-styrene (SEPS). They are intended for use where UV resistance, high service temperature, and processing stability are essential.

Les blocs (chaînes) terminaux sont thermoplastiques. Le bloc médian élastomère peut être insaturé[8], saturé[9] ou fonctionnalisé.

formes insaturées :
SBS : polystyrène-b-polybutadiène-b-polystyrène ; type le plus répandu et un des moins chers ;
SIS : polystyrène-b-polyisoprène-b-polystyrène[10] ;
formes saturées :
SEBS : polystyrène-b-poly(éthylène-butylène)-b-polystyrène ; la structure saturée de la polyoléfine éthylène/butylène procure d'excellentes caractéristiques au vieillissement climatique : tenue à la lumière (rayons UV), à l'oxygène, à l'ozone et à la chaleur (-40 à 120 °C) ; matériau agréable au toucher, pour un contact avec la peau[11],[12] ;
SEPS : polystyrène-b-poly(éthylène-propylène)-b-polystyrène ;
SEEPS : polystyrène-b-poly(éthylène-éthylène/propylène)-b-polystyrène ;
formes fonctionnalisées :
MBS : groupes polaires le long du bloc médian élastomère.
