Hello everyone,

I'm having a very hard time with this term. It doesn't feature in any of my dictionaries, I can't find it online and I can't figure out what it means from any of the French sites I've looked at.

The context is that I am translating a catalogue listing the various types of plastic bags a certain company produces. For various types of bags (vest carrier, blockheaded, etc.), there is the following description:

Avec liassage et deux larges anses.

I would be very grateful if anyone knows that liassage means!

I found the same reference as Stéphanie

The holes are metioned seperately so it has to be the tear off stubs.

Asker: I believe the correct translation in this case is "blocked". Un sac liasse is a "blockheaded bag" and "un sac avec liassage" is apparently called a "blocked bag"...

agree  Portals: grouping is the key... a bundle of banknotes, for example, is a "liasse" here in quebec. Think of the bunches of plastic bags at the grocery store where you tear of the next available bag.
