(pre) die-cut Explanation: It seems that this particular electrode, made presumably of conductive silicone rubber, has been cut into very specific shapes, similar to self adhesive labels or transfers. The "pre" bit seems to imply some process, eg printing, before the actual die-cutting itself. |

pre-cutting Explanation: I would envisage this as the sheet of silicone rubber being partly cut through by the mfr, so that the electrodes can be separated out as necessary to fit the brain. I have no idea, though, if there is a more specilaized term in this particualr field. |
