preamble with investment regulations Explanation: I may be slow but I'm not sure I really see the difficulty... a quick search shows that 1) this is very Swiss, indeed, 2) that it is "regulations" not "payment". Maybe there's something I haven't grasped. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2020-10-19 14:03:57 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Re "payment", I was just wondering what the issue was. A "preamble" to a contract typically includes the names of the parties, etc., but can also contain things which help with the interpretation of it. Thus, to me, it doesn't seem so far-fetched that a contract might contain "investment regulations". I'll be interested to see what others come up with though. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2020-10-19 14:05:18 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- X ... "that a preamble might contain" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2020-10-19 14:15:05 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Re not a contract. Oh yes, silly me. But I still think "preamble" works fine here and that a "preamble" typically contains more binding content than an "introduction". But I await other answers with interest. |

preamble with regulation to buy fund shares Explanation: A SICAV is an open-ended investment fund structure offered by European financial companies. SICAV fund shares are available to the public to trade, with prices that are based on the fund investments' net asset value. SICAV stands for Société d'investissement à Capital Variable, which translates literally to english as "Investment company with Variable Capital". https://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/sicav.aspSource: In the UK, SICAVs are called Unit Trusta. A unit trust is an unincorporated mutual fund structure that allows funds to hold assets and provide profits that go straight to individual unit owners instead of reinvesting them back into the fund. Mutual funds are investments that are made up of pooled money from investors, which hold various securities, such as bonds and equities. However, a unit trust differs from a mutual fund in that a unit trust is established under a trust deed, and the investor is effectively the beneficiary of the trust. Source: Investopedia |

Introduction and Investment Rules Explanation: possibly Preambule and Investment Rules This document sounds like a "prospectus" i.e. an invitation to invest in this fund / buy "units", so "introduction" would make sense, as in "an introduction to what's on offer" règlement de placement = the fund's internal rules that will apply when deciding how to invest the available capital / the money collected from subscribers or unit holders. |
