company's representation on the committee Explanation: "conseil" could be either advice or a formal grouping of people called "a council" "partie" could refer to being a "party", like someone with an interest at the table, or it could also be "part", as in, part of the council or being among that type of counsellors. "societé" could refer either to a private firm/company or broader society. This is the problem, not "legalese". Due to the existence of both "conseil" and "avocat", in this case I assume that "conseil" does not refer to legal council, but rather, the existence of a council or committee. So, I suggest "company's representation on the committee", where the company is the film production company. You may also prefer "firm" instead of "company" here. |
