French term or phrase: spreads
At the tail end of this sentence, there seems to be a contrast between 'spreads de crédit' and 'spreads.' Can anyone tell me what's implied, what type of 'spread' does not need a modifier?

Thanks in advance!

agree  joehlindsay: Or more specifically 'bond yield spreads' but in professional finance just the term 'spreads' is fine and will be understood. Narrowing bond yield spreads are considered an important indicator of a recovering economy by economists and financial folks.
