French term or phrase: Paiement de retrocessions et d'indemnités
This title appears above the following sentence:

Lors de la distribution en Suisse, la SICAV peut verser des rétrocessions aux investisseurs qualifiés énumérés ci-après, détenant selon une appréciation économique des actions de la SICAV pour des tiers :

A literal translation would obvisouly be "Payment of retrocessions and indemnities" but is it possible to pay a retrocession? I have found references to the retrocession of commission but I am not sure if this is what is being referred to here.

Can anyone shed any light on the correct financial terms to use in this context?

Many thanks!

English translation:Commission sharing and fees
Explanation:
"Retrocession" is not a word you will encounter much in English (apart from in transations from FR of dubious quality). It usually refers to commission sharing arrangements – in this case, the SICAV agrees to share commission with qualified investors holding fund units on behalf of third parties.

There are a number of ways of translating "indemnités" (e.g. "allowances" is a common one), but in context, I would say the most likely interpretation is that it's talking about some kind of fee.

Personally, I don't think "Payment of..." is absolutely necessary in English. You could say "payment of shared commission and fees" if you really want to, but I would tend to just go with "Commission sharing and fees".
