I'm a bit confused with this one as naturally I think a herbergeur is a "host" = services host, host of services???? Definitely doesn't sound right. I then thought perhaps they mean service provider (whoever wrote the text is not very good, so it's a possibility) but the, I came to a section headed définition de l' hébergeur 2.O. (this is web 2.O) Any ideas please

Asker: Thanks for the suggestion, but it's not the "responsabilité" I'm having problems with but the herbergeurs des services, which I was quite happy to call service providers, even though hebergeur is normally host, I think, until a section cropped up speaking specifically about hebergeurs. I'm wondering if the writer is as ignorant as I am, thereby confusing service provider, host and the whole caboodle or is there a specific translation for "herbergeur des services". Or is there a sneaky way of expressing this without showing my ignorance.
