Sorry, I only noticed now that the discussion went on! I was only trying to help with a suggestion so I don't think I should post an answer for points, but thanks for offering! Yes, I too believe xia is absolutely right, However, on the phontic side of her comment, a "well-spoken" Frenchman would make it easier by insisting on the "t" at the end of "particulièment": particulièrement -T- envahissante... ;-) // I meant "phonetic"!!!

Could it be possible in the context? I'm thinking it's a more common word than "vaillissante" (not sure what it means!) and the idea that images are all over the place is quite common (images envahissantes).
Also it would work phonetically (particulièremENT ENvahissante), with a pause that could be difficult to hear if the recording is not very good.
