The "comme" weakens its impact, with the link to a prosaic offer of service! Most of the nice suggestions will make him sound a wee bit pretentious. Perhaps you could split it into two sentences and start the second with "I have now.....

Not really common, it could just be activities, professional life (as already discussed below), etc. There is some kind of change.

This is a kind of bio/website description. Before this phrase the photographer has not mentioned any previous stages/chapters or whatever. This is why I am questioning if this is to be taken literally, or if it may simply be an expression that somebody may know of. But I can see from comments (which are all much appreciated) that this is maybe not a common expression in French. Am I correct?
Anyway, I have just sent message to client on this.

Perhaps the author is talking about themselves? Were they doing something else before getting into photography? In this case, maybe something along the lines: 'As part of a new chapter in my professional life, I have chosen to...'
