General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters / NGO committees in West Africa
French term or phrase: superviseur
In the context of a national organising committee, there is a "Président" (chairman) and a "Superviseur". Superviseur doesn't seem to correspond to an English committee function, bearing in mind that there also rapporteurs (secretaries).

The context is an annual report for a health campaign of this NGO. Any suggestions?

Explanation:
This is very much a guess, but a web search of terms like superviseur and ONG suggests that these may be specialist roles (often in the field). So it could be a (front line) professional who provides specialist advice to a committee.

As mentioned, the longest of long shots without any further context.
