This is regarding how to arrange a tarp over a container for fumigation. I'm finding such a range of translations for this phrase, I'm not sure which is the right one. Hopefully someone here will have some familiarity.

Le pliage des angles de la bâche est primordial pour assurer l’étanchéité et la tenue au vent. Les ***boudins de sable*** doivent être en double file, même et surtout dans les angles, pour bien plaquer la bâche au sol. Le résultat final est une bonne étanchéité et une bonne tenue au vent.
