Explanation:
Seems odd to me that they would be using the EN word here; is there any mention elsewhere of its being a 'pulsed laser'?

Just possible that they don't actually mean 'pulse' at all! I see that it says the laser 'scans' over the surface, so it would make sense if it were 'sweep overlap' — but quite how you'd get from 'pulse' to 'sweep' I can't imagine!
