during / in hold Explanation: One might equally say 'on hold', but that has other connotations in other fields that might make it sound odd here. If this is still your various timer relays etc., it will mean the quiescent power, the current during operation (e.g. when you push the button — this will be the energizing current to make the relay operate) and the much lower 'hold' current that is needed to keep the relay on. |
