Hi there,

I have "délai de réponse" in my text which I've translated by "response time"
However, I have "délai" on its own, should I translate it by "delay"? (also found "lead time" in the GDT)

"...de tels déphasages pouvant trouver leurs origines dans des délais de réponse entre le courant de pilotage et l'émission du faisceau principal, des délais introduits le long des chemins optiques des faisceaux (...), des délais de réponse entre la détection du rayonnement de fluorescence par la première photodiode..."
