Didn't recognize your new pseudo!
I've seen other terms used for 'generously-dimensioned', and I rather feel it is possible to 'loose' (!) a term for this context — it's the sort of thing you find in marketing texts, for example; I feel pretty sure it just means 'less tight', 'roomier' etc. — I just can quite get my head around what thy're talking about, but with these 'vias', I think they just mean 'bigger holes' ;-)

I think the idea is probably 'more relaxed' dimensions, i.e. looser, less tight — hence able to accommodate something larger from 'standard' technology (instead, presumably, of 'new, even tinier' technology.
