First year of senior high school Explanation: When students start senior high school, they do so at 'deuxieme', then 'premiere' before going into 'terminale'. You can't really say 'second year' as this would correspond with primary school in the UK. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 days 20 hrs (2019-03-15 10:30:39 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Hi, Sorry for the late response. So, to answer your question, there are three years of senior high school, which begin at 'deuxieme', then 'premiere' and the final year is 'terminale'. I'm not so familiar with the British system. However, I did find a good picture which provides a rough comparison of the two systems: https://www.google.com/search? q=niveaux+secondaires+france&rlz=1C1CHBF_enIE726IE726&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiZ78-U- IPhAhUyUxUIHfRSDnQQ_AUIDigB&biw=1366&bih=657#imgrc=QTRRweYiiGN_tM: |
