I'm totally flummoxed
This a report of the effectiveness of school-enrollment programs in Ivory Coast.
Among other things it lists resources and aid provided by various multinational projects and agencies.
The troublesome list is:
--Livres et boites à outils pour les bibliothèques mobiles de CP/CE/CM et communautaires
--**Registre 3 Mains**
--Mégaphones
--Dictionnaires
--Guides d’utilisation des bibliothèques mobiles

The expression does not repeat in the 4k document.
I'm totally flummoxed
--Does it mean something like "verified record" or "official record"?
I'd be grateful for any suggestions as always :-)

Explanation:
"Registre" here means a register, a hard-cover book for record-keeping, A4 size or thereabouts.

"Main" means quire: i.e., a twentieth of a ream, 24 or 25 sheets of paper. In practice this means double-page-size sheets, which are folded once, producing a total of 96 or 100 pages:

: a collection of 24 or sometimes 25 sheets of paper of the same size and quality : one twentieth of a ream"

So a "registre 3 mains" is a "3-quire register". But nobody seems to use that expression these days, except in India (and indeed "main" is becoming old-fashioned too), so I think you'd better give the number of pages. In French, too, it seems to be sometimes 24 and sometimes 25 sheets, producing either 96 or 100 pages, so 3 "mains" means either 288 or 300 pages. Here's an examples of each, the first from France and the second from Morocco:

Asker: Thanks Charles, I totally agree with you, but in terms of this list I think "3-quire register" could be overkill, so I'm opting simply for "register"

agree  Tony M: As a printer, I was familiar with 'quire', but it was only during recent reserach about other meanings of 'main' that I discovered this meaning of it! I suppose it comes from the notion of 'a handful'?
