Education / Pedagogy / bulletin de notes universitaire sénégalais
French term or phrase: cc1
This designation appears across the top of a "bulletin de notes" from a university in Dakar. The other column headers are:

examen 1
semestre 1
examen 2
semestre 2
moyen général

I get everything, but the cc1/ cc2
Any ideas?

Continuous Assessment

CC refers to "contrôle continu," where grades are based on ongoing testing/assignments throughout the year instead of being determined 100% by a final exam at the end of the course. The English equivalent is "continuous assessment."

As for abbreviations, I've seen both CA (Continuous Assessment) and CATs (Continuous Assessment Tests).
