Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / HVAC
French term or phrase: VCFT
After the plumbing, the HVAC - same project, different department as it were. This comes from a list of HVAC work for a refurbishment.

Raccordement des VCFT et CCFT

Comes in a list under a heading of "Electricité"

Ventilo-convecteur something something? Volet coupe-feu something (followed by clapet coupe-feu something, although isn't that the same thing?).

Many thanks for any suggestions.

Explanation:
I think you were right with your volet / clapet coupe-feu — the 'T' appears to be 'télécommandé'

They are not quite exactly the same thing — there are detail differences in both their design, and where they are used. I am unaware of the same distinction being made in EN, though; but further research would be advisable!

The Glossary ¶1.6 appears on p 8 of the PDF (though it doesn't contain VCFT, only CCFT) — you might possibly find some of the other terms helpful too!

Notes to answerer
Asker: Many thanks - I'm sure I will. A quick search leads me to think that "clapets" are "in-duct" and "volets" are more hinged affairs on intake/outlet points, but I can't be definitely sure so I will check this point with the client.
