In context: Le contrôle du support des applications réseaux, Ethernet 10BaseT, Fast Ethernet 100BaseT,Gigabit Ethernet 1000BaseT.
It also appears in an earlier section on connection testing: Tester jusqu’à la norme de catégorie 6 ou le support du 10 Gbps. I really don't think it refers to mountings.
