...as in it's a culturally difficult word to translate from French. Most of the time, in corporate translations, it means "labor" and not "corporate" unless we're referring to a company's name (raison sociale).
In the US, we don't have the equivalent of a "comité d'entreprise" but in UK English it's a Works Council.
"Partenaires sociaux" refers to "management and labor." So "représentation sociale" in this context refers to who is attending the meeting representing labor. I would use "union representatives" or "labor representatives" since "workforce representatives" is too general. |
