Ph_B's 2nd link isn't much help as it's about both water and land algae. The Fr Wiki is very different from the English version. So yes, it appears there are indeed water mosses and ferns though I'd have always associated them with land! John has an aquarium so knows otherwise! This is the way I read it initially. I imagine putting les, before each of these types in the list as usually done in French ...la biomasse végétale ciblée: les algues, les bryophytes, les ptéridophytes ou les macrophytes aquatiques.
