French term or phrase: Asterisk in numerical term
I have the following numerical term in my text about ELISA: 0.08/305*5
Should I reproduce it as is, or should I change the asterisk to a multiplication sign when translating it from French to English?

English translation:Asterisk in numerical term
Explanation:
Keep the asterisk. It is pretty standard in equations, for all English variants.

And this is the standard symbol for multiplication in almost all scripting and programming languages.
